My Story

Keroles is a bright and curious boy living in a small village near the Nile River in Egypt. He shares a modest home with his mother and younger brother. After the loss of his father, life has become more difficult for their family. His mother works hard to care for her boys, but resources are limited, and providing for their basic needs — like education, healthcare, and nutritious food — is a daily challenge.

Despite these hardships, Keroles finds joy in the little things. He loves going to school, especially English class. Math can be tough, but he never gives up. His favorite color is green, he adores dogs, and pizza is his absolute favorite treat. At home, he helps keep his room tidy and takes pride in being a good big brother.

Faith plays an important role in Keroles’s life. His mother often shares stories from the Bible with him — especially the story of Moses, which is his favorite. As Christians in a mostly Muslim country, their faith is both a comfort and a source of strength, though it can also bring added challenges.
