My Story

I'm Mera, and it's just me, my mom, and my brother living together in Egypt near the Nile River. Unfortunately, my mom is unemployed and widowed, but we still manage to find happiness in our village surrounded by farms.

I really enjoy school, especially Science class. Arabic is a bit tough for me, though. Pink is my favorite color, and I have a soft spot for birds. Fish is my go-to food, and I love playing with my friends and going for runs.

I help my mom by cleaning my room and keeping things tidy. It's the least I can do to help out. My favorite story from the Bible is about Ruth. She showed such loyalty and strength in tough times.

In Egypt, we cherish our families, savor delicious food, and share lots of laughter with friends. But being Christian here can be tough. Still, I find comfort in knowing that God loves me and will always be by my side.
