My Story

I'm Keroles, and it's just me, my mom, and my sister in Egypt, near the Nile River. My mom is widowed and unemployed, but we try to make the best of things in our village surrounded by farms.

I really like school, especially Math class. Arabic is tough for me, though. Blue is my favorite color, and I'm a big fan of dogs. Chicken with rice is my ultimate comfort food, and playing soccer with my friends is the highlight of my day.

I help my mom by keeping my room clean and organized. It's not much, but I know it makes her happy. My favorite story from the Bible is about John. He showed so much faith and courage in his journey.

In Egypt, we cherish our families, enjoy delicious food, and have lots of fun with our friends. But being Christian here can be challenging. Still, I find solace in knowing that God loves me and will always be there for me.
