My Story

Meet Jomana, living with her mom and sister in Egypt, by the beautiful Nile River. Their village is full of farms. Jomana's mom is widowed and currently not working, but they find happiness in their simple life.

School is Jomana's favorite place to be, especially when she's in her Math class. Arabic is a bit tricky for her, though. She loves the color pink and has a soft spot for cats. Pizza is her ultimate treat, and she enjoys spending time with friends and going for runs to feel free.

To help her mom, Jomana keeps her room clean and tidy. It's her way of contributing to the family. Her favorite story from the Bible is about Ruth, a tale of loyalty and strength that inspires her every day.

In Egypt, family, good food, and laughter with friends are cherished. But being Christian isn't always easy in a mostly Muslim country. Still, Jomana finds comfort in her faith, knowing that God's love is always there for her.
