My Story

I'm Carol, and I live in Egypt with my mom and sister near the Nile River. Our village is surrounded by farms, which is pretty neat. But things can be tough sometimes because my mom is widowed and doesn't have a job.

School is a mixed bag for me. I really enjoy Arabic class, but Science? Not so much. Red is my favorite color, and cats are my absolute favorite animals. When it comes to food, pasta is my go-to comfort food.

Spending time with my friends and going for runs are my favorite things to do. It's always a blast! At home, I like to help out by cleaning my room. It's not much, but every little bit helps, right?

One of my favorite stories from the Bible is about Jesus. His teachings and the way he cared for others inspire me every day. Being Christian in Egypt isn't always easy, but knowing that God loves me gives me strength and comfort.
