My Story

Hi! My name is Tia. I live in Iraq with my mommy, daddy, my brother, and my sister. We had to leave Syria before I was born because it became too dangerous. We’re still living as refugees in the north of Iraq.

I really like swimming and playing with my friends. My favorite color is pink, and I think cats are the cutest animals! I help my mommy by picking up my toys and keeping things tidy.

Life here can be hard sometimes. There aren’t always jobs, and it can be tough to find enough food or clean water. It’s also not always safe being a Christian. But I know God is with us, and that makes me feel better. I’m thankful for my family and for the times we laugh and celebrate together.
