My Story

Hi! My name is Rawana. I live in Iraq with my mommy, daddy, and my sister. We had to leave our home before I was born because it wasn’t safe. Now we are still refugees in Northern Iraq.

I like swimming and playing with my friends. My favorite color is pink! I love cats—they are so cute. My favorite food is French fries. I help my mommy by picking up my toys.

Sometimes things are hard here. We don’t always have clean water or enough food. It’s hard for my daddy to find work. Most people here are Muslims. There aren’t many Christians, and it’s not always safe. But I know God loves me and He is always with us.
