My Story

My name is Mina, and I live in a village in Egypt near the Nile River with my widowed mother and my sister. My mother is currently unemployed, but she works very hard to take care of our family. Egypt is a wonderful country, and we enjoy many simple things in life like spending time with our families, sharing good food, laughing, and gathering with friends.

I like going to school, and Math is my favorite subject. Science can be a little difficult for me sometimes, but I keep trying to do my best. My favorite color is yellow, and I really like dogs. My favorite food is chicken. One of the things I enjoy most is playing board games with my family and my friends.

At home, I help my mother by doing the dishes and cleaning my room. My hero is my mother because she works so hard to care for us. Most people in Egypt are Muslims, and there are only a few Christians, so it is not always easy to be a Christian here. I enjoy hearing about how God loves me, and it makes me happy to know that He will never leave me.
