My Story

My name is Youana. I live in a small village in Egypt near the Nile River with my widowed mother and my brother. My mother is currently unemployed, and we live a simple life together. Egypt is a wonderful country where people enjoy being with their families, sharing good food, laughing, and spending time with friends.

I like going to school, and my favorite subject is Arabic, although Math can be a little hard for me sometimes. My favorite color is red, and I love cats. My favorite food is beef. When I have free time, I enjoy playing with my toys.

I also try to help my mother at home by cleaning my room and picking up my toys. Most people in Egypt are Muslims, and there are very few Christians, so it is not always easy or safe to be a Christian here. I enjoy hearing Bible stories, especially the story of Mary. It makes me happy to know that God loves me and will never leave me.
