My Story

My name is Karas, and I live in Egypt with my widowed mother and my brother. Our home is in a village near the Nile River where there are many farms around us. My mother is currently unemployed, but we take care of each other and enjoy spending time together. Egypt is a wonderful country, and people here love their families, good food, laughing, and gathering with friends.

I go to kindergarten and I enjoy learning new things every day. My favorite color is blue, and I really like dogs. Pizza is my favorite food. I love playing soccer with my friends whenever I have the chance.

At home, I help my mother by picking up my toys and cleaning my room. Most people in Egypt are Muslims, and there are very few Christians, so it is not always easy or safe to be a Christian here. I enjoy hearing stories from the Bible, and Moses is my hero. It makes me happy to know that God loves me and will never leave me.
