My Story

My name is Felopater, and I live in Egypt with my widowed mother and my brother. My mother is currently unemployed, and we live in a village near the Nile River where many families work on farms. Life in Egypt is special to us because we enjoy being with our families, sharing good food, laughing, and spending time with friends.

I enjoy going to school, and my favorite subject is Arabic. English can be a little hard for me sometimes, but I keep trying to learn. My favorite color is purple, and I really like dogs. My favorite food is beef. In my free time, I like playing soccer with my brother and my friends.

At home, I help my mother by picking up my toys and cleaning my room. Most people in Egypt are Muslims, and there are only a few Christians, so it is not always easy to be a Christian here. I enjoy hearing stories from the Bible, and David is my hero. It gives me hope to know that God loves me and will never leave me.
