My Story

My name is Logi, and I live in Egypt with my widowed mother and my brother. My mother is currently unemployed, and we live in a small village near the Nile River where there are many farms. Life here is simple, but Egypt is a wonderful country. People enjoy spending time with their families, sharing meals, laughing, and gathering with friends.

I enjoy going to school, and Math is my favorite subject, although English can be difficult for me sometimes. My favorite color is red, and I love cats. My favorite food is chicken. When I have free time, I enjoy playing computer games and going to church.

I also like helping my mother at home by doing the dishes and helping with cooking. Most people in Egypt are Muslims, and there are very few Christians, so it is not always easy or safe to be a Christian here. I enjoy hearing stories from the Bible, especially the story of Ruth. It reminds me that God loves me and will never leave me.
