My Story

My name is Haidy, and I live in Egypt with my parents, my sister, and my brother. Our home is in a village near the Nile River where there are many farms around us. Egypt is a wonderful country, and we enjoy spending time with our families, eating good food, laughing, and getting together with friends.

I like going to school, and my favorite subject is English. Math can be difficult for me sometimes, but I keep trying to learn. My favorite color is pink, and I really like rabbits. One of my favorite foods is koushari, which is a popular Egyptian meal. In my free time, I enjoy running and drawing.

At home, I help my mother by picking up my toys and cleaning my room. My favorite character is Cinderella. Most people in Egypt are Muslims, and there are very few Christians, so it is not always easy or safe to be a Christian here. I enjoy hearing about how much God loves me, and it makes me happy to know that He will never leave me.
