God is love!
My name is Abdrahman. My family fled Syria in 2014 because of the Islamic State, before I was born, and we are now living as refugees in North Iraq. I live with my parents and my twin brother. Life here has not always been easy because this region has seen many years of war, and many families like ours are still suffering.
Even with these challenges, I enjoy going to school and spending time with my friends. My favorite color is gray, and I really like dogs. My favorite hero is Spiderman. One of my favorite things to do is play soccer with my friends whenever I have the chance.
At home, I try to help my mom by picking up my toys and keeping things tidy. Iraq is a special place where people love their families, traditions, good food, and celebrations. But there are also many difficulties, like an unstable government, few jobs, and sometimes it is hard to find enough food and clean water.
Most people in Iraq are Muslims, and there are very few Christians, so it is not always safe to be a Christian here. I enjoy hearing about how much God loves me, and it gives me comfort to know that He will always take care of me.
